OUTINGS
OUTINGS INFORMATION
The group hosts outings from May to October. When possible a Getaway is planned once a year. All outings to be held on Saturday or Sunday. The host couple will pick the course, format, and provide a fellowship meal. Couples should select a format that is fun and will help with the pace of play. The group does not use handicaps for it's members. Members are responsible for all green fees. The Host couple will determine the format/games/skill sets and award prizes at their discretion. The Host couple and any other guests are not eligible for prizes. There is no limit on prizes awarded, but should be done with prudent, spirit, and should promote friendly competition.
The host is responsible for notifying all members wither electronically or by telephone with the date, time, and location. Please include all couples in the electronic communications.
If members cannot participate, please let the host know at least a week in advance. The schedule is distributed at the beginning of the year (between January and March 1st). The earlier you inform the host the better they can plan.
RAIN IN THE FORECAST
There are times when the forecast calls for rain. The host couple will monitor the forecast and determine if the outing will move forward. We have a standard format that it is rains we still come together and have our fellowship (meal) and socialize. We sometimes play cards. The host couple has signed a committed contract or held the date with a charge card. Please make every effort to support the Host Couple.
PRIZES
Prizes will be determined by the Host Couples. We love having guests, but they are restricted from receiving prizes except if the Host Couple deems to have a separate category for them. The Host Couple deems to have a separate category for them. The Host should also eliminate themselves from prizes. Prizes & fellowship should be modest. Guests & Honorary Members
GUESTS & HONORARY MEMBERS
A couple may invite one couple at a time to play with the group. The Couple should contact the host couple to determine if they have space to accommodate the guests. All expenses shall be agreed upon by the host couple and requesting member/couple.
SHIRTS & OTHER ITEMS
The group has two shirts, one red, one blue, that we rotate when we have outings. The host couple will select the shirt/color for their outing. New Members are responsible for the cost of securing their shirts (from the Uniform Committee).
Items representing the couples Group such as hats, jackets, and sweaters do not require a group agreement/vote.
COORDINATOR & LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Coordinator & Leadership team shall be reviewed every two years minimum.
The review shall be by:
1) The CEO for Life (and or)
2) The General Membership
The Coordinator & Leadership team shall assume their duties agreeing to the above policy.
